Here's a twist on an old classic, the Hello Dolly Bar:
St. Patrick's Day Hello Dolly Bar
from Karri Perry at Blue Ribbon Kitchen
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
6 tablespoons butter melted
¼ tsp salt
2 Tbs sugar
***
3/4 cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts or peanuts)
3/4 cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts or peanuts)
1/2 cup Bailey's chocolate baking chips
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
½ cup shredded coconut, (Add 1-2 drops of green food coloring and stir for green coconut)
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Heat oven 350 degrees
Use non stick spray or line with parchment paper.
Melt butter and mix together with graham cracker crumbs, salt and sugar. Press into 8 or 9 inch square baking dish.
Drizzle the graham cracker crust layer with the 1/2 of the sweetened condensed milk, add chocolate chips, chopped nuts, and green coconut (reserve 2 Tablespoons). Drizzle the second 1/2 of the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top, sprinkle with extra coconut. Bake for 30-35 minutes on the middle oven rack until the coconut is very lightly browned and the filling is melted and bubbly.
Let cool, cut into squares and serve.
