A Red & Gingham~Santa Inspired Christmas

Welcome to a Red & Gingham~Santa Inspired Christmas Tour!

As hard as I try to use other colors at Christmas time...
I always seem to fall into the pattern of using
reds and gingham inspired ribbons and fabrics...
The bright reds make the holiday complete for me...

Clearly...I'm a traditionalist...
with a love for all things Santa too.

Please enjoy this tour and be sure to visit the other
fantastic bloggers that are part of the
Home for Christmas blog hop!

Thank you to:

and

for hosting this fun Home for Christmas Blog Hop!!

Come on inside and take a look around...

Using our gussied-up windows and doors as a starting place...
I put together a keepsake ornament of our home for our kiddos.

A simple photocopy of a photograph....
transformed our house into a treasure for the Christmas tree.
It was an easy project to make with BIG results!

To learn how to make your very own DIY ornament,
with your childhood home inside...visit this post:

A holiday dinner deserves a holiday table setting....

A Santa inspired table...
notice the gingham chairs and ribbon...
a carry over from the entryway...using the same gingham ribbons...

Using framed vintage postcards of Santa, helps to fill out the table.
I love how bringing little pieces from the past (like these vintage postcards)
adds depth and interest to a holiday table.

Not to mention they are fantastic conversation starters...
Brown paper packages tied up with string....

Santa in his sleigh...
More red...  and more gingham...

Even the lighting got dressed up for the holidays!

A Santa inspired Christmas tree,
complete with photos of our family's
children over the decades gracing Santa's lap...

The ribbons...red gingham of course!

Thanks for visiting!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!
I'm glad you were here...
